Day 4
Day 3

I'm wearing a graffiti-ish graphic top with dark denim shorts and bright yellow flats to bring out the yellow accent in the top. I also love the top because it has a zipper necklace. Pretty rock, punkish.
I keep forgetting to take pics of my shoes. Shoes sometimes make all the difference; bright-colored flats or fabulous heels can add a punch to a simple, casual outfit effortlessly.

My Mana Tree
So this is my Mana Tree; it's basically what RPGs call its "Tree of Life". This was inspired by my favorite game of all time, "Legend of Mana". It's legit; it's a wonder why I still haven't met someone who has played the game. Oh and there's a tree like this in the "Final Fantasy" series too (VII + X = LOVE).
I love my wall-art; I made it pretty big to hang on my wall, like a floating tree. It's different from the typical wall-art painting or drawing because it's a collage made up of paint swatches. I hoarded a gazillion paint swatches from Home Depot/Lowes/Wal-Mart; I'm sure they were wondering wth happened to all the green ones.

DIY Munnys! --> Iron Munny
So uhhh I love Munnys. They're pretty much the best do-it-yourself toys everrr. Each Munny is a smooth vinyl figure and blank canvas ready for scribbling, painting, sculpting, or doing whatever straight from your imagination. It's cute even left plain white. Buy some here --> http://www.kidrobot.com/Toys/DoItYourselfToys/
My first DIY Munny! It's Iron Munny aka Mind Munky :) Made it for a close friend's birthday.
I wish I put LEDs in the chest and palms. How badass would that be???!!!

Project 365
So I think I'm going to start my own Project 365. It's basically a self-project where you document one year of your life taking one picture every single day. Except I'm going to focus mine around fashion, the what and "wear". Hey, you only stay young and pretty for so long until the short-shorts and mini-dresses are a no-no. haha
Why do it?
- Imagine being able to look back at any day of your year and recall what you did, who you met, what you learned… (Often we find it hard to remember what we did just yesterday or even last night, let alone a whole year ago!)
- Your year-long photo album will be an amazing way to document your travels and accomplishments, your haircuts and relationships. Time moves surprisingly fast.
- Taking a photo a day will make you a better photographer. You will get better at composing your shots, you’ll start to care about lighting, and you’ll become more creative with your photography when you’re forced to come up with something new every single day.
Tips
- Bring Your Camera Everywhere
Yes, everywhere. Get in the habit. Grocery stores, restaurants, parties, work, and school. There are photo-ops everywhere. - Vary Your Themes
Try to capture the day’s events in a single photo. Perform photographic experiments. Take a photo of someone new you meet, something you ate for the first time, or something you just learned how to do. Take a photo of something that made you smile. And don’t forget to take a photo of yourself at least once a month so you can remember how you’ve changed, too. - Tell a Story
Use your blog entry, or your photo description, to explain what’s going on in each day’s photograph. How good did that dinner taste? What made you want to take a photo of that stranger? It’ll help you remember down the road, and it gives friends following along a better appreciation of why you took the photo you did. You don’t need to write a lot, just enough to add some color. - Don’t Stop, No Matter What
There will be times you’ll think there’s nothing interesting left to take a photo of, and times you’ll think you didn’t do anything exciting enough to take a photo of. There’s always a great photo to be made.Get out of the house and take a walk. Or stay inside and look around. Take a photo of something important to you. Take a photo of the inside of your house so you can see how your taste has changed over the years. Take a photo of anything, just don’t stop.

My First Thread...
I named my blog after an RPG I played on my Playstation 1. Since then, I have been using this to describe my theory on fate and life. I have yet to find someone who has also played this game though lol. Basically the game offers two different plots with two lead characters; completing both plots will give the player a holistic storyline to weave together, thus a true ending or conclusion to the game. As with life, the paths of different people often weave and split, depending on immutable destiny and choice.
Yet destiny and fate cannot be used interchangeably. It's believing in fate vs. carving out your destiny, chance vs. choice. Fate is the belief that there is a sequence of events that is inevitable but changeable through destiny. Destiny is the product of a belief that what we become will be determined by what we do.
Some call fate just "coincidence", but I believe that it is more than that. The chance of meeting someone or doing something is very slim given the right time, place, and circumstances. What are the odds? Personally I believe that there is a set degree of both working together; fate only takes you so far, then it is up to us to choose our own destiny by the different paths we choose. It is what we choose to do with the moment that we are given in that time, place, and circumstance...
According to European mythology, there are three goddesses dispensing fate; they determine the events of the world through the mystic spinning of threads that represent individual human destinies.
According to an East Asian belief, the gods tie an invisible red string (referred to as the red thread of fate) around the ankles of men and women who are destined to be soul mates, regardless of time, place or circumstance. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break.
But back to the main reason why TOF is going to be the name of my art blog and design line. "Threads" can refer to the materialistic strings of fabric or to the invisible lines of fate and destinies interweaving. Out of all the paths I took, I was always led back by "fate" to my love for art and design, so this is me trying to follow that path...
